Car broke down on the highway and I was towed to this shop. First, the owner has terrible people skills. Secondly, he doesn't give a crap about what's really wrong with your car, he just tells you the most expensive price and hooks you. He tried to tell me that my fuel pump is dead. I said, no, I just had that replaced 2-3 months ago. Wouldn't listen to me. Drops my fuel tank, and lo and behold, the pump is fine. Then tells me that my issue is a rusted fuel neck. Now, my car is a used 2001 Mustang thats been run hard by the previous owners. I've had a rusty fuel neck since I got it. That's not going to the the reason my car turned off the engine on the highway. Regardless of what I said, he swore that's what the issue was and It'd cost me 700 dollars. I finally said whatever, had his tech drive myself, my mother, and my things to a hotel in Tallahassee, and had my boyfriend pick me up. We drove back that Friday and towed my car home. He charged me $80 because he dropped my gas tank. Came home, put some gas in the car and she fired right up. Put some quicksilver on my fuel neck and she's been running just fine ever since. .
Best of all I feel this is a very honest mechanic who I can TRUST!!
Went there just to get my lawn mower tires air up because I couldn't get them to. They spent 3-5 min on one tire and said I needed to get tubs for them because of the way the tires were put on.. Went down the road and stopped at another tire place and 7 min later had both tires with air in them and he didn't use all the stuff they where working with. Can't air up a lawn mower tire don't think I would take anything else to them for sure..
